Still Waiting

Nothing is happening so it's hard to get enthusiastic about adding to the blog.

A letter telling of my frustration and disappointment was sent to PD and a response several days later was received. In short there was an apology, an excuse that the delay was beyond their control and news of more delays.

It turns out that a new batch of both our 1st and 2nd choice bricks will not be ready until the 1st of April. We will be able to choose between the two, but we have hopefully already made our decision.

A trip last weekend to see homes built with the two bricks we're looking at, has helped in deciding which one we'll definitely go with. Just hope the quality is there so it won't muck things up again.

We're hanging out for April, it's been a long wait!

  1. Hey Relle,
I really feel for you, having to wait so long to get this brick drama sorted.
Stay positive, because once you get past the hurdle of the bricks, I'm sure your build will take off like a rocket :))

    Cheers

  2. Hi Relle, not been able to post comments on your past blogs so hopefully this works. Must be so frustrating not seeing any progress... we've not had much over the past 3 weeks and its driving us bonkers so can only imagine what you're feeling.

All the best and YAY for another Brookvale! Trying yelling that a few times but it never got thru :)

  3. Thanks Liana, I really shouldn't be complaining when I think about what you've been through.

So glad to see your place is rightfully being fixed. I and others I tell cannot believe the horror experience you've had. Hope everything continues to go well and you finally have a house that you are happy with.

  4. Hi M&J, sorry about not being able to post comments, not sure why you couldn't but glad you have finally got through.
It is great to see other Brookvales, especially because they are all different in their own way. Here's hoping they get moving soon so we can enjoy following their progress.

Hope they aren't playing an April Fools Day trick on you and the bricks turn up soon.
Which ones are you leaning towards???

  6. Hi K and T, believe me this is no joke. If the bricks turn up it will be later rather than sooner, based on their past performance.
We have decided to go with urban one chocolate if they turn out good. We have everything crossed! Relle
